1. Agreement to Terms

By hiring EcoHands Glendale Tree Services ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") for any tree care services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EcoHands Glendale Tree Services. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not engage our services.

2. Services Provided

We provide professional tree care services including but not limited to tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, emergency tree services, land clearing, tree health maintenance, arborist consulting, and shrub trimming. All services are performed by trained professionals following industry safety standards and best practices.

Service scope is defined in written estimates or work orders. Any additional work requested beyond the original scope will be quoted separately and requires client approval before proceeding.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Estimates are based on site conditions at the time of inspection. If conditions change significantly or unforeseen complications arise, pricing may be adjusted with client notification and approval.

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for large projects.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring we have clear access to work areas. You must inform us of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or property features that may be affected by our work. You are responsible for securing pets and ensuring they do not interfere with work operations. Clients must obtain any required permits before work begins unless we have agreed in writing to obtain permits on your behalf.

5. Property Damage and Liability

We carry full liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. We take reasonable precautions to protect your property during all services. However, certain types of tree work inherently involve risks to surrounding property. We will discuss these risks during the estimate process.

We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other hidden property features if you have not informed us of their locations before work begins. We are not responsible for damage to lawns from equipment access when ground conditions prevent alternative methods.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel scheduled services with at least 24 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. We reserve the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

7. Emergency Services

Emergency tree services are available 24/7 and are prioritized based on severity and safety concerns. Emergency service rates may differ from standard pricing. We will provide pricing information before beginning emergency work whenever possible, but immediate safety concerns take precedence.

8. Warranty and Limitations

We warrant that all services will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. We do not guarantee the survival of trees following pruning or other treatments, as tree health depends on many factors beyond our control. Any warranties on specific services will be stated in writing at the time of service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitute acceptance of modified terms.
